1. Agreement

The RCIC is a member in good standing of The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and is bound by its By-law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations.

2. Purpose

The Client seeks consultation or advice from the RCIC regarding Canadian immigration. The consultation includes gathering the Client’s general information, assessing the profile, explaining potential immigration streams, and outlining the next steps toward building an action plan.

3. Limits of Engagement

The services under this Agreement are limited to a single consultation on the matters described above. This Agreement does not obligate the RCIC to act on the Client’s behalf in any application or proceeding. Should further advice or representation be required, a separate retainer agreement must be signed. The consultation will last for a maximum of one hour.

4. Method of Consultation

The RCIC will provide consulting services via phone or videoconference based on the Client’s choice when booking the meeting. The consultation will last up to 60 minutes.

5. Fees Payable

The Client agrees to pay in advance a consultation fee of $100 CAD for an express 30-minute consultation, or $200 CAD for a full 1-hour consultation.

The payment must be made via credit card or INTERAC transfer before the consultation.

6. Refund Policy

No refunds will be provided for consultations canceled within 24 hours. Fees are deemed earned upon commencement of the consultation and are non-refundable.

7. Client Responsibility

The Client must provide accurate and complete information, including all relevant facts, even if negative or adverse, which could affect the advice provided. Failure to disclose all necessary information may impact the consultation and potentially void the agreement.

8. Advice Current on Date of Consultation

The advice provided is based on Canadian immigration law and policy as of the date of the consultation. The RCIC is not responsible for any changes in legislation or policy that may affect the Client's application or status.

9. Acknowledgment

The Client acknowledges having read and fully understood this Agreement and has sought any necessary third-party services, such as translation or legal advice.

10. No Guarantee of Outcome

The RCIC will provide services to the best of their ability but does not guarantee the achievement of any specific immigration goal or result.

11. Confidentiality

The RCIC is obligated to maintain the confidentiality of all information provided by the Client. No information will be shared with third parties, except as required by law, or with the Client's consent.

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute, the Client and RCIC will make every effort to resolve the issue directly. If a resolution is not reached, the Client must submit a written complaint to the RCIC, who will respond within five working days. 13. Applicable Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

14. Language of Agreement

This Agreement shall be drawn up in English only.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge their understanding and agreement to the terms outlined above.
